In May 2018 Peter Johnson and Chris Blick completed a fund-raising charity walk on behalf of this organisation. It covers some 50 miles and took place over 5 days starting at Parr Sands on Saturday May 19th and finished the following Wednesday at Bigbury (east of Plymouth). Chris spoke about this at the April Branch Meeting - having sought sponsorship.
The amount raised was presented to the charity, which in turn acknowledged this effort in their Newsletter.
